Spring! Spring!! Spring!!! It's here!!!!! Do all the exclamation marks reveal how much I love the season? Spring gives us the best weather, and so much beauty in nature. In the world of cosmetics it isn't any different. I wait for spring collections with anticipation. Beauty lines really brighten up and add so much versatility and color during this season. This year was not any different. I went around the beauty department and picked out a few items and felt inspired to create this look. Here is what they are and why I love them
Chantecaille Butterfly Eye Quartet - The compact is gorgeous! Thats what caught my attention from the beginning. I'm a sucker for packaging and this palette is probably the prettiest piece in the whole makeup department, so I had to have it. Once I got to applying it the colors were so beautiful on. The texture feels very luxurious, and its easy to apply. The shades are inspired by the hues you get from a butterfly wing in nature. The combination is ideal for a neutral day to day look, and an easy transition to night time. This palette is definitely a must have this season. www.chantecille.com
Estee Lauder Rebellious Rose Cream to powder blush and Lipstick- The Rebellious rose shade is a cult favorite especially the lipstick. I would describe the lipstick as the perfect neutral coral. This shade is perfect for when you want a pop of color without too much drama. As for the blush again, I fell in love with the packaging. The compact is very sturdy and I love the design of the powder. I was intrigued by the cream to powder texture and it didn't disappoint. Its the perfect coral pink, and very smooth and blendable at application. www.esteelauder.com
Gucci Bronzer in Shade 03- I treated myself to this bronzer last summer. I ended up loving it so much. it is currently one of my staples. The shade is perfect for my skin tone and it applies so smooth and smells amazing, and yes it's $62 and totally worth the price. www.gucci.com
Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Fluid in Pearly Glow and stick in N21- These two give my skin the perfect glow and dimension. I loved that these products are multifunctional and can be used anywhere in the face. www.Chanel.com
DiorShow Pro Black Waterproof Mascara- This is a new favorite of mine. It's a classic but the waterproof formula is a game changer when needing wear time and curl. This formula is perfect for outdoor activities and warmer weather! www.sephora.com
Spring is a time for renewal! Makeup is an easy way to re-invent yourself or just give yourself a boost.
