If my hair could only speak, it would have so much to say! It’s been through every phase of my life with me. From adding pops of bright color, to being a full redhead once or twice before. To then grow it out and attempt to go natural, to only then ...chop it! I litererally chopped it super short, and dyed it jet black just before my wedding? All that just to grow it out natural, and start all over again. I then noticed grey hair making an appearance, and made the decision of going lighter and blonder to help camouflage the grey.

I’ve been going to the same hairstylist for about ten years. I attribute the health of my hair to her. She’s helped me discover what works and what products to use. She introduced me to Olaplex a while back, but didn’t begin using the whole system until about a few months ago. In those couple of months I can tell my hair is so much healthier and stronger. I don’t get as much breakage and it’s easier to style everyday.
My hair journey has been a fun one. I don’t regret any of my hairstyles throughout the years. I’ve had a lot of fun, and now I just know what works. That doesn’t mean I’m not willing to try new things in the future. Hair is hair I’ve never taken it too seriously, I prefer the excitement of change. For now the goal is to maintain its health and grow it as long as possible. I plan to continue to use the Olaplex system for now. I’ll keep you updated on the progress and any new products I love.
