My LE LABO Experience

I have been intrigued by LE LABO for quite some time. It’s been around since the early 2000’s, but it first caught my attention in the “Sandcastles” music video of Beyonce’s Lemonade visual album. She is sitting in a dark room with two beautiful candles lit, and those candles were Santal 26, by LE LABO. After that I just bypassed it for a bit.

After a while I noticed them everywhere. Sure enough social media had blown it up. A friend of mine recently started working for LE LABO and told me all about them. Sam explained to me how they only use all natural ingredients and how they are 100% cruelty-free. I then got a few sample packets to try. After going though all the samples it was honestly so hard to decide. All the scents are so special and smell incredible, oh and they are all unisex.

I wore each one of the scents on different days, just to make sure they worked well with my body chemistry. Then I finally made my decision. I went into Nordstrom to visit my friend Sam and I got the best service. I had no idea how detailed and personalized the whole experience would be. I initially went in wanting to purchase Another 13, but they had sold out during their Anniversary Sale. I didn’t want to leave without a new fragrance for Fall so I went through all the scents again. I kept coming back to Santal 33. I have seen this bottle everywhere. I did everything in my power to choose a less popular scent I just didn’t want to be Basic, but it was too good.

Once I made my decision Sam got a blank bottle out of a small fridge. She then typed up the label with my name, date, and who it was by (Sam) and printed it , then boxed it up for me. That was my favorite part. I love how personalized it was. I believe these types of details in a shopping experience are the future of retail. LE LABO is an example of forward thinking and the type of service online shopping can’t give you. I am so excited for my signature Fall 2020 scent that I wanted to share with you my experience.
