When it comes to makeup I’m a big believer of simplicity and longevity. I want to look my best with the least amount of effort or touch ups throughout the day. My current go-to's have been giving me the best results, and the ideal base when transitioning into any other look desired!
FACE:
Skin Tint-
When wanting to achieve longevity with complexion less is more. Product build up creases and shifts so you don’t want to over do it. I currently prefer Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 iliabeauty.com . I love how it mimics skin and wears; plus, it also has the SPF 40 included in the formula. This is ideal when wanting to minimize steps! ALSO, this skin tint is a clean mineral base that provides you with skin care benefits… I mean can it get any better?! For additional coverage I recently got into the Kosas Super creamy + Brightening Concealer Kosas.com. I love how this formula beautifully adds extra coverage where needed. Then, finally I use Laura Mercier translucent powder to set my previous products strategically only where needed. For me this includes my T-zone, and under eye area! I try to avoid muting out any wanted glow with too much powder but it’s a necessary ingredient to increase your wear time Lauramercier.com .
Solei Tan de Chanel-
This product is a Gel creamy Bronzing Base. I love wearing this all over my face. I tend to self tan my body but my face never holds up the tan like the rest of me, so this is a lifesaver! The application is also super easy and it smells beautiful Chanel.com
Wander Beauty on the go Blush and Illuminator - This is a must have when looking for practical long wearing makeup. Why? The creamy formula adheres to the skin while it wears great on its own or it can also act like a base for a powder base formula. It's a stick design makes it travel ready and easy to apply. Laura Mercier Caviar stick- These sticks are designed for eyeshadow but can also be used as a primer or even eyeliner depending on the shade. They come in a wide array of colors and textures that can help you create any look. Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara- This is a long time favorite of mine. I've disregarded many conversations about luxury mascaras after discovering this formula. I've attempted to give new lux formulas a chance but they are never quite right for me. I like how the large rubber wand deposits the formula and builds length. The waterproof formula stays on all day while holding the curl of my lash. Available at Target.com or any drugstore.
LIPS:
M.A.C. Versicolor Lip Varnish- I LOVE these! They stain your lips for all day wear and are easy to build over with a gloss or lip liner or any other lipstick. My go to shade is Stuck In Love 104. maccosmetics.com
