Lavender Dream- The Makeup Trend You Should Try.

As I scrolled through my insta feed I was mesmerized by all the lavender hughes on the eyes. Violet shades are the safest way to try a pop of color. They work great with all eye colors, and are easy to harmonize with neutrals. I’ve noticed pastels on the eyes all over the runway, and the Gram. Lavender shades stood out to me and I had to try. So if you are in the mood for something new?! I Will share a few steps and products that will help you work this beautiful shade on your eyes. Hope you will give it a try!

GET THE LOOK!

Step# 1- Make sure you prep your lid. I used concealer and set it with translucent powder before applying the color.

Step # 2- Begin with the lightest shade always. I applied shade 1 on the inner corner and brow bone. Do not apply it all over, it will compromise the color payoff of the other shades if you do.

Step #3- Apply shade 2 on the crease. Starting from the outer corner and ending at the inner corner. Blend the color up a higher, this shade will transition all the shades together.

Step# 4- Shade 3 then goes directly on the crease. This color should be applied intensely and finer over shade 2 to give the look dimension.

Step# 5- Then apply shade 4 on the lower lid. Bring this into the crease color and blend out any demarcation.

Step# 6- The darkest shade 5 will go right on the corner of the eye to create intensity and then lightly diffuse It into the rest of the shades.

Step# 7- Now go back to step 1 to brighten and clean up the look.

Step# 8- Clean up fall out and finish by applying eyeliner and lashes.

Love,

Cyndi 💜
