With Halloween around the corner, I began to hunt through my makeup stash for ideas. I then began to select a few palettes, lipsticks, and glitter! As I kept searching I found some rhinestones, and thought to myself “a clown!” Why not? I actually noticed so many clowns the year prior during Halloween and felt inspired. I then began to apply color on my face and with a few strokes, I became a clown.
I would describe my makeup aesthetic as effortless and fun. For Halloween I wanted to be creative while staying true to my style. I came up with a cute low-key clown makeup. This look is simple, and something anyone can create with their personal makeup kit at home. I used regular eyeshadows, blushes, and lipsticks, then added lashes and rhinestones to accessorize. Clowns are so universal that you can take it so many directions. You can design a look that represents your personality or even create a whole new alter ego. I mean, why not it's Halloween? Clowns are sometimes scary, sweet, wacky, happy, sad, colorful, pretty, or ugly. The possibilities are truly endless. The whole point is to dress up and have fun!
For the outfit I decided to go with all black blazer dress. Your outfit is something you can definitely style with a few pieces in your closet and make it your own. The idea is to improvise and have fun! Are you dressing up this Halloween? I mean...why not give a little clowning around a try, but most of all enjoy!
